Be able to tell at a glance (without opening the patient file) whether someone needs a re-exam, or always DNAs or turns up late, e.g. an icon in the name
At the moment the only way to tell if someone us usually late, or usually DNAs (so needs to be treated differently in some way e.g. a reminder call in the morning), is to open the patient file and look at the notes. Maybe the user can turn a setting on/off so that the patient has a clock icon in their name? So when you click to create an appointment in the diary and type their name into the search bar, it's immediately obvious.
Another icon that could be useful to show up in the name is if the person hasn't been in for a long time and therefore needs a re-assessment so it's safe to treat them. Maybe the icon could be a hazard symbol/yellow triangle with an exclamation mark? At the moment the user has to go into the patient's appointment history to see when their last appointment was and if they therefore need a longer appointment for a a re-exam, which is long and fiddly (if you're trying to book an appointment quickly from the calendar screen). If users just book a patient straight in without a warning that the patient hasn't been in for a while, for a clinic which has a strict re-exam policy, it can sometimes mean that they can't be seen in the short slot they've been allocated. So to catch that at a glance during booking would be really useful.
