Changing appointment types (available options)

There may well be a reason behind this but currently if an appointment type is changed via the left sidebar in the patient's appointment screen it lists all appointment types, not just those associated with that practitioner. Can this be changed to reduce the number of options, making it clear to the user which appointments can be selected for that practitioner and avoiding selection errors in the process?
