Custom Form Layout Improvement Suggestion- Physical Exam

The current vertical format makes it cumbersome to document bilateral findings like myotomes, reflexes, or orthopaedic tests. From a UI/UX perspective, a more intuitive solution would be to allow for a grid-like layout. This would enable practitioners to create a single line item for a test with symmetrical, side-by-side input fields for the Left and Right sides. This layout would not only be a more accurate digital representation of how we conduct a physical exam but would also speed up the charting process by allowing for side-by-side documentation using checkboxes, dropdowns, or multiple-choice options.
