Customization of shown days/hours in calendar

Could you let users choose which days of the week to see in the calendar? For example for people working only Mon, Wed, Friday it would be great to hide all the other days. That would make better use of monitor space and possibly allow for viewing more than one week at the time. An option to hide/collapse certain hours of the day when practice is always closed (Spanish siesta time for example) would free up even more dead space in calendar.
