deducting sessions from package for cancelled or missed appointments

It would be great to apply a missed or cancelled appointment directly to packages bought. That would seem the best way. Currently, we apply a cancelled/missed fee which then raises a debit on patient's file. It would be easier to apply the it to the packages. I.e. minus one session from package bought.
