Diagnostic image tab to open in a new window

I find I'm typing notes into SOAP area during consult, for get to hit save draft, want to see an image so hit diagnostic image button and lose all my notes! Either have an autosave for notes area (which is saving as draft) or make clicking to diagnostic image section, open this in a new tab/window, hence not destroying notes.
