Financial Export Patient Number

When you run the financial export report it has a patient id field which i assumed to be the patient number as shown next to their name in the record screen, however it is instead just a database id number which is not very helpful. Would it be possible to replace this number or add in the actual patient number as this tends to be our reference point.
