make records autosave

I would love it if the records kept autosave function while writing them. I work on a Mac using Safari and if I glance the wrong button (multiple options here) or hit escape to say no to a spelling change, the record deletes and I have to start again. I would love it to say "are you sure you want to delete this record" or similar if you leave a record and have not saved it. Thanks Nic
