One-off Availability showing on diary screen

When a one-off availability is created in a usually closed diary, it would be helpful if this would automatically show on the diary page. Currently if we have a therapist off and another coming in to cover we have to blockout the diary and say who is covering and then manually tick the covering therapist from the list on the left each time the diary page is refreshed.
