We have an appointment called a no-charge consult which is for appointments that don't need to be paid for. There is no service fee attached to this appointment, so that when we go to process it just processes without an invoice. However, if someone has a prepaid package, the default setting is to use one of the prepaid packages against this appointment. Yes, you can select "don't use package" but our staff are so used to just clicking process on the no charge appointments that we have had a couple of instances where people have lost a package appointment due to this. Can this be changed in the programming to not ask to use a package?
