Pit-Stop Function

A function that allows someone to pass on a message or an important piece of information regarding a guest that cannot be ignored.

Let’s say a patient has arrived for an appointment. When the person on the desk clicks on the patient in order to process their appointment a ‘pit-stop’ window pops up with a message in it (eg. owes £30 from last appointment). The person on the desk must ‘acknowledge’ this message before they are able to move forward and process the appointment.

Kind of like a sticky note that cannot be ignored…
