Printing Reports

I realise the intention of the system is to be as paperless as possible, but sometimes you need to print stuff for analysis etc. However some of the reports such as NP referrals, some of the financials don't have an actual print facility unlike other reports. It is however possible to just print the report from the browser anyway using the print menu. However the left menu gets printed out over the top of all the data. Would it be possible to tweak the CSS for the system so that the left menu (i assume a DIV) is set to non printing (i can't think of any reason it would want to be printed) - this would make easy to use the reports without the need to build in extra print functions.
